Pisa & Wine Tour – Tuesday, May 26
We are arranging a trip to Pisa and a wine tour in Tuscany on Tuesday, May 26. We are still ironing out the small details, but we will depart in the morning to Pisa. After Pisa, we will head towards Tuscany and stop at two wineries. The first winery will include a tour, tasting, and lunch. The 2nd winery will also include a tour, wine tasting, and olive oil tasting. The cost of this tour could be as low as 130 Euro or as high as 170 Euro. It depends on how many people confirm to attend and what size bus we will require. This includes transportation costs as well as the wine tours, tastings, and lunch.

Wedding Day Details – Thursday, May 28
Civil Ceremony at Palazzo Vecchio
12:00 PM
We will start our wedding day with a civil ceremony at Town Hall in Palazzo Vecchio. In Italy, only Catholic ceremonies are legal, therefore a civil wedding is required before our church wedding. Everyone is welcome to join if you’d like, however this isn’t the “main event”.
If you choose to attend the civil ceremony, please arrive outside of Palazzo Vecchio before 11:45am. If you are late, you can ask for the Uffizio Matromoni and hopefully they can direct you. For a map of Palazzo Vecchio’s location, please click here.
Attire is business casual.
Church Ceremony at Saint Mark’s English Church
5:00 PM
The formal wedding will begin at 5pm. We will provide shuttle service from all hotels to the wedding. We will update the website and send an email regarding the pick-up time for your hotel by Monday, May 25. Due to transportation restrictions, the vans cannot wait and impede traffic, so please be on time for your scheduled pick up. If you prefer to walk to the ceremony, please let us know by Monday, May 25, so we can inform the transportation company. Please note there is quite a bit of cobble stone in Florence, so walking could be uncomfortable in heels.
After the ceremony, everyone will be transferred to Villa di Maiano for the reception. We will enjoy a great view of Florence, dine on amazing food, and drink and dance! We will have transportation back to your hotel at 11:45pm, 1am, and 1:30am.
Attire is formal.
